Grape Juice

Ingredients

¼  kg Black grapes
½ Cup water
Juice strainer
Few ice cubes

 Method

Wash grapes well 3 to 4 times.
Blend in a blender with ½  cup of water.
Strain using a juice strainer.
Pour into a glass, add ice cubes and serve chilled.

It has vitamin C & K.
Boosts immune system.
Helps to maintain lower cholesterol levels.
Strengthens bones.


Coriander Rice

Coriander Rice

Ingredients

1 Bowl cooked rice
2 Bunch coriander leaves
2 tbsp. grated coconut
2 green chilies
1 tsp ginger & garlic paste
2 tsp oil
1 tsp ghee
¼ tsp fennel
1 lemon
A pinch turmeric powder
Few roasted cashew nuts (optional)
Salt to taste

Method

Wash and clean coriander leaves and cut them.
In a pan heat oil add green chilli ginger & garlic paste.
Add coriander leaves fry for a minute and switch off the gas.
Add coconut to the above and grind to smooth paste.
Heat ghee in a pan add fennel , a pinch turmeric powder and the above paste.
Fry for a minute, add this to cooked rice, add salt and mix  gently. 
Finally add lemon juice and mix well. 
Garnish with roasted cashew nuts.
Ready to serve coriander rice.
We can serve this with potato chips, potato fry or any raitha. 

Health benefits
Coriander leaves lowers bad cholesterol.
It is a great source of dietary fibre, iron, magnesium and vitamin K.

Pineapple Juice



Ingredients

1 cup cut pinapple
2 spoons lemon juice
2 tsp honey ( or sugar)
1 cup water
Few ice cubes.

Method

Wash pineapple and Peel the outer skin.
Cut the pineapple into small pieces.
Blend in a blender along with little water.
Once done filter this and add lemon juice and honey mix well.
Add some ice cubes and serve.





Rava laddu

Ingredients

1 cup rava
1 cup sugar
Few cashew nuts
¼ tsp cardamom powder
½ cup ghee

Method
Heat ½ tsp of ghee add cashew nuts, fry them and set aside.
In the same pan heat 2 tsp of ghee and roast rava in low flame till you get a nice aroma from it.
Grind rava to a coarse powder and sugar to a fine powder.
Now add rava powder, sugar powder, roasted cashew nuts and
cardamom powder and mix well.

Heat remaining ghee in a pan, add this to above mixture little by little.
Mix well, set aside for 2 minutes.
When the mixture is warm, shape in to balls with your hands.
Grease your hands with ghee to avoid sticking.
Simple and tasty rava laddus are ready.
Store it in an air tight container.

Salad

Salad

Ingredients

Chopped apple
Chopped carrot
Chopped cucumber
1 tsp lemon juice
Few coriander leaves
1 tbsp boiled channa
1 tbsp roasted peanuts
1 tsp raisins
¼ tsp freshly crushed pepper powder
Salt to taste.

Method

Toss all ingredients together with salt, pepper powder and lemon juice.
